Delado International
The joy and power of life; great, immersive music and multicultural dance. Delado International, led by Sanna Karlsson-Sutisna, has toured every year since 2022 in Finland with authentic griot musicians directly from Burkina Faso.
Outside the tours, we do shows and workshops all around the year with Finland-based musicians. All the artists are professional musicians with a long and reputed career.

Experiences
Our speciality is a memorable ethno fusion of contemporary and traditional dance and music rarely heard, such as the softly magical music of the Tiefo ethnic group combined with pan flute.
Delado includes master dancer/songwriter Sanna Karlsson-Sutisna (dance, choreography, vocals, ngoni, drums) from Finland and master musicians Amadou Benjamin Ouattara (musical director, balafon, longa/drums, Ngoni, vocals), Abdoulaye Nebie (vocals, drums), Mougnini (singing, balafon, drums, flute) and Dabou Dembele (vocals, drums), who bring 900-year-old griot heritage straight from Burkina Faso, with Andean Indian and Afro-Peruvian rhythms spiced up by Rodrigo Rodriguez from Chile (vocals, drums, charango, bass, guitar, pan flute) and guest musician Kasheshi Makena from Tanzania (vocals, bass, guitar, drums).
Delado International came to Finland for the first time to perform in the summer of 2022, with top-class professional musicians who got the audience excited. Energetic and vibrant performances and workshops filled outdoor events, festivals, galleries, schools and libraries. In summer 2025, the group toured already for the fourth time around the country!
We perform in different sizes of ensembles (2-6 persons) and have different lengths (15min-2h) of performances available, tailored to the needs of the commissioner.
